AI kinetic sand cutting
A blade slices a block of pastel sand, the slice flops over and shows what's inside. AI ASMR channels post this shot every day.
Scroll Shorts or Reels for a minute and you will probably see it: a block of soft, coloured sand, a big blade pressing down through it, and a slice slowly leaning over and landing with a soft crunch. Guides to the faceless AI ASMR niche put it at the top of their lists. Lovino ranks kinetic sand cutting first among this year's formats and calls it "the easiest first format". Anijam lists glass, soap and sand cutting as its top ideas. The shot itself is older than the AI tools: Know Your Meme traces real kinetic sand ASMR back to 2013, with one 2017 video passing 74 million views.
Why it works
Every cut is a small, certain reward. You know the slice will fall, but you don't know what the inside looks like until it lands. Clean edges, soft colours and a slow, even rhythm make it easy to watch again and again.
How this ingredient gives it to you
Kinetic Sand Slice builds the whole shot in code, and the loop is exact. A long block feeds forward, a steel bench scraper presses down, and each slice tips onto a slow belt with its cut face up, throwing off a few crumbs. Under Inside the block you choose Pastel layers, Hidden heart (only visible once you cut) or Marbled swirl. Then set the four colours, the Slice thickness, the Cuts per loop, how many Crumbs fall, the Sand grain and the Camera (three-quarter or a high phone view).
Put a Lower Third or a Kinetic Title Reveal over it for a captioned Short, or paint your logo into the pattern so every slice shows it.
One limitation
There is no sound, and sound is most of what makes ASMR work. The blade reaches the board at the same point in every cut, so lining up a crunch in your editor is easy. The sand also doesn't squish where the blade goes in. The pieces stay rigid.
