The UI morph loop

One black shape that clicks, loads, plays music and opens a chart without a single cut has been remade hundreds of times since Opus 5.5 came out.

A few days after Claude Opus 5.5 came out on 22 September, @twoclipping posted a short loop. One black rounded shape becomes a button, a spinner, a check, a music player, a slider, a toggle, a chart and a search box. A cursor clicks and drags each change, and the video never cuts. They wrote that it was all code with no After Effects, and they shared the prompt. The post passed a million views and 20,000 bookmarks. Remixes followed: @__morse made a colourful version, Latent Space covered the wave, and new versions are still showing up on Oneshotted.

Why it works

Nothing fades in. Each screen grows out of the last one, so your eye never loses the subject. The cursor gives every change a reason, and the small spring at the end of each move makes flat shapes feel like real objects.

How this ingredient gives it to you

UI Morph Loop is the whole loop in one file, and the last frame matches the first. Pick the States: the full tour, a Launch run (button, loader, check, toast, chart, search) or a Music app run. Set your own Button text and Notification text, and the four colours: Background, Dark UI colour, Light UI colour and one Accent colour. Spring overshoot sets how much things bounce when they land. You can also turn off Camera follows the shape, Show cursor, Show state labels and Motion blur.

Set the clip to six bars of your music and every change lands on a beat. For an end card, put Kinetic Title Reveal with your product name after the last state.

One limitation

The screens are fixed drawings: a music player, a revenue chart and a command list. Only the two texts and the colours change without editing code, and the loop has no sound, so add your own clicks in the edit.
